Boing Boing: Archie becomes tool for the RIAA

This Archie comic further reveals the RIAA’s FUD spreading.  Although this seems to be spreading it a little thick, me thinks. If life really worked this way no one would ever make any money except for the service industry.

Sign of hilarity

As funny if not more so than the sign I saw months ago on a Wienerschnitzel where the ‘chnitzel’ had burned out and all that was left was “wieners”.

Is this the new iMac keyboard? - Engadget

Oh wow. This is pretty. I really would want one of these! I hope it’s real. And if it’s not Apple Inc. please take notes!

Me and My Mac - Columns by PC Magazine

Long time Mac detractor John C. Dvorak [Dvorak.org] posted the above linked column about his experience using an iMac for the first time. And he had an interesting perspective.

Ultimately he holds a similar view to myself. It’s a computer. In the end all of them do basically the same thing. I prefer the work flow of MacOS but I find many things to like about Windows. And I am anxious to try my hand at Linux. But seriously try any of them and they will all basically do the same thing.  Find the one that you like best and fits into your computing philosophy.  Then enjoy!

InXile - The Official Home of Line Rider

Almost as addictive as Tower Defense [Hand Drawn Games]. Draw a line and then the little dude slides along it.  Simple effective and fun!

Shoes that closely replicate the sense of moving barefoot.  But with less fear of getting a nail or rock or other nasty in your foot.  I’m not sure about how the look but they’re a really cool idea. And I’m tempted to get a pair.  I’m just not sure how I’d feel about having them on my feet … but then again they might be comfortable enough that I wouldn’t care.

Boing Boing: Jasmina Tešanović: Serbia and the Flames

An interesting article dealing with global warming and its social impact.
